here are my version and my opinion on stereotypical horror audiences. usually girls are resembled as wimps, people who are scared easy. which therefore don't intend on watching many horror films. on the other hand the majority that do enjoy a scary horror usually watch them in a group of Friends or perhaps with a loved one, this way they feel protected from the characters within the film. they range from 16 - 18 because this the age in which i feel teenagers are looking for that next step in movies, a super thrilling chiller that puts the viewer on the edge of reality.
other connotations that resembles the stereotypical girl would be shopping, make up going out with Friends. but the stereotypical horror fan would usually perhaps hate all those tings and may dress in black and listen to heavy metal and be into death and gore.

the stereotypical male enjoys a horror film, or as they say. males tend to act like they love horror films to act like a tough gentlemen in front of other females that they wish to impress. but some actually do enjoy chilling horrors and these are based around the age of 17 - 18 and tend not to be interested in romantic or dramatic films. this age is also key because my horror is for 15 year old and therefore would be able to watch my horror, that's why i believe i aimed my film at the correct age group. these teenagers would also be interested in sporting activities keeping them on a buzz like feeling therefore when they watch a film they tend to want the same feeling and that's why they choose to watch horror titles to give them that buzz that they seek for.
